The Role of the Designated Safeguarding Lead

In this webinar, participants will learn about the roles and responsibilities of the Designated Safeguarding Lead. The DSL, which can be referred to by many other names, is the operational lead for Child Protection in a school. This role requires specific training, resources, and responsibilities to be successful. Participants will delve into the job description for a DSL, discuss best practices, and talk about key consideration for the role. Participants will receive handouts and participate in case studies.
